Ann M. (Macdonald) Hogan, age 78, of Malden, Massachusetts, passed away peacefully in her home, surrounded by loved ones, on Tuesday, October 8, 2024.
Ann was born on January 23, 1946, in Malden, MA, at Malden Hospital. She spent her life dedicated to nurturing and teaching as a preschool teacher, sharing her love and patience with countless children over the years.
Ann was the beloved wife of Thomas Hogan. She was a devoted mother to her children: Kathleen Sullivan and her partner Robert Geer of Malden, Maryann Spada of Malden, Kerry Knox and her husband James Knox of Malden, David Sullivan of Kittery, Maine, and Julia Sullivan of Tewksbury.
Ann was a proud grandmother to Margaret, Johnny, Thomas, Farrah, James, Allyson, Dillon, Vincent, Tara, Jill, Joelle, Grace, and Danny. She was also blessed with 8 great-granddaughters and grandsons—who brought her much joy.
Ann’s warmth, generosity, and unwavering love for her family and friends will be remembered by all who knew her. Her legacy will live on in the hearts of her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and all those whose lives she touched.
Family and friends are kindly invited to attend a Funeral Mass celebrated in St. Joseph's Church, 770 Salem Street, Malden on Tuesday, October 15th at 10 AM. Those attending the Funeral Mass are asked to meet directly at church. Services will conclude with interment at Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden. Visiting Hours are respectfully omitted.
